JVMMS is a Virginia-bred singer, rapper, and loop artist. His band consists of his keyboard making making drum beats & bass grooves. Then he creates harmonic layers on top before introducing his lyrics. JVMMS draws his inspiration from multifaceted, genre-crossing artists such as Pharrell, Drake & Kehlani. Career achievements include opening for the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center, as well as being featured on DC's local NPR station and the Office Ladies podcast. His songs are genuine and human, discussing topics of love, loneliness, struggle and success. Currently, JVMMS is working on a compilation of covers called "Miles To Go", taking the listener to a different place than the original song would by either amping up the energy to tell his own story or chilling out for a more introspective, vulnerable vibe.
